Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arkline AI Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our website and services, including arkline.ai, the Arkline gateway and dashboard, and any related subdomains, applications, command-line tools, or APIs (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information
We collect information you voluntarily provide, such as when you:
- Register for an account or subscription
- Subscribe to paid plans or request a demo
- Contact us via forms, email, or support
This may include: name, email address, company name, job title, payment details, and business contact information.
Customer Content (prompts & queries)
When you use the Arkline gateway, we process the queries, prompts, code, and related content your users submit ("Customer Content") in order to route them, apply anonymisation, check for policy violations, log them to your account's database, and search for reusable prior answers. Customer Content is processed on your behalf, under your account's configuration, and is not used to train our own models — nor any third-party model where the provider offers a training opt-out we can apply.
Automatically Collected Information
When using the Services, we collect:
- Device/browser details
- IP address and approximate location
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, request volumes and token counts)
- Cookies and similar technologies (e.g., for analytics)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the Services — routing requests to local or third-party models, anonymising outbound traffic, logging queries, and reusing prior answers
- Process subscriptions and payments
- Send service, security, and administrative communications
- Respond to inquiries and provide support
- Produce usage analytics and onboarding material for your account
- Improve the reliability and efficiency of the Services
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Model Providers: Where your configuration routes a request to a third-party model (e.g., Anthropic, Google, OpenAI), the relevant — anonymised, where required — portion of the request is sent to that provider to fulfil it.
- Service Providers: Third parties for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, and email delivery.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulators, or legal process.
- Business Transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
- With Consent: When you explicitly permit sharing.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction, including the anonymisation controls applied to outbound model traffic. However, no system is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information and Customer Content for as long as needed to provide the Services, for your account, or for legal purposes; it is deleted upon request or termination (subject to backups and legal holds). Account administrators can configure retention for their query database.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your information
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent
- Opt-out of marketing
Contact hello@arkline.ai to exercise rights. We respond within legal timelines.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies for functionality, analytics, and personalization. Manage preferences via browser settings, though this may limit features.
8. Third-Party Services
The Services integrate with third-party model providers and infrastructure vendors, and the website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties; their use of any data sent to them is governed by their own terms and policies.
9. International Data Transfers
Based in the UK, we may transfer data to service providers and model providers elsewhere (e.g., EU/US). Transfers use safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Children's Privacy
Services are not for under-18s; we do not knowingly collect children's data.
